Our company’s been around a while—but our ideas are always pushing the boundaries. In fact, our commitment to innovation and quality craftsmanship is why we’ve thrived for so long, and why we’re still paving the way in ceiling fan design and performance.
When father-and-son team John and James C. Hunter invented the ceiling fan back in 1886, it changed the ceiling forever—and for the better. Of course, the ceiling fan has advanced a lot since then, evolving from a basic machine to a truly multifunctional device that can enhance (or inspire) any décor. And we’re still finding ways to improve and perfect it, whether through aesthetic design, lighting, powerful and efficient air movement, or some other aspect that will make a room look and feel exactly the way you want it to—as effortlessly as possible.
room is better with a Hunter in it. And we really believe it. That because it’s more than lip service—we’re the only fan company in the U.S. that we know of with full R&D capabilities and an industrial design team that’s as dedicated as ours. Every day, we’re envisioning, concepting, prototyping and testing—and doing it all over again the next day. That’s what we’ve been up to for nearly two centuries now, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll come up with by the turn of the next one.
(That’s how we used to talk about our fans in the “olden days.” Sounds funny to today’s ear, doesn’t it? Still, every word remains true.)
